Stefano Lentini explains the inspiration of his little masterpiece and truly touches the essence of beauty with his words.
Lentini's piece was written for soprano featured in the movie The Grandmaster, a story about China's martial arts icon named IP Man. The song was featured in this scene where IP Man does a sparring match with the daughter of another Grandmaster whom he just previously beat. IMHO it is among the most gorgeous scenes in all cinema. Its funny because their sort of underground hideout for sparring matches was a bordello (but note there is nothing obscene)! But this scene really kind of touches the sacredness of life, the privilege of being alive and meeting someone and practicing an art that is precious. The words leading up to this scene by IP Man are
